Lisa Danielle Lorimer
Lisa Danielle Lorimer is a realist painter of the old west subjects in watercolor and has lived in Sedona, Arizona since 1981. She was born in LaJolla, California in 1948 and her parents were both frustrated artists who taught her to draw horses and negotiated the sale of her first painting. She won several awards during her school years and was awarded a scholarship to California State University at Long Beach. After three years, she went to work for an advertising studio. In 1974, with encouragement from her husband, Thomas Lorimer, she became fascinated with portraits of Indian artifacts. Lisa is a member of the Western Artists of America and the Women Artists of the American West.
