Gerald Farm
Gerald Farm was born in Grand Island, Nebraska in 1935 and is a painter of the "story type" western nostalgia. After graduating from high school, he spent four years in the U. S. Navy. While in the U. S. Navy, part of the time was as an illustrator in Washington, D.C., where he completed the Famous Artist Course in commercial art in 1958. He earned his Bachelor of Science in art education from Nebraska State College in 1961, taught in high school for a year and was an industrial art director for seven years before going full time. In 1976, he traveled through Europe studying the Old Masters. He was listed in Who's Who in American Art and was featured in Southwest Art, June 1974 and February 1979.
