Thomas English

Originally from Austin, Texas, Thomas English has been a Montana resident since 1991. English is an avid outdoor artist as well as a studio painter. He has participated in many shows throughout the United States and his work has been widely collected. English has participated many times in the C.M. Russell Auction, Quick Draw, and Masters in Miniature.

He was invited to attend the annual Glacier National Park "Superintendents'' Hike" and many times to the annual "Russell Ride" at the Circle Bar Ranch, near Utica, Montana. He recently participated in one-man shows at the Paris Gibson Square Museum in Great Falls, Montana and at the Hockaday Museum of Art in Kalispell, Montana. During the Hockaday Museum showing the Museum purchased one of his paintings of Glacier National Park for their permanent collection. His work has also been displayed at the Governor's Mansion in Helena, Montana. English also was awarded the prestigious "Artist in Residency" in Glacier National Park.
