Title:
Leather beaded coat made for Sheriff Paul Temple of Beaverhead County by the Bannack Indians as reportedly a gift.  Sheriff Temple was in charge of the Sheriffs Association meeting in Virginia City, Montana in approximately 1948 to 1950.  Admission tokens for those who attended the meeting were leather gold bags made in squaw leather.  The bags were filled with lead ingots painted gold to resemble the gold rush Montana era.
