Louis Aston Knight (1873 – Deceased)
Louis Aston Knight was a landscape painter. He studied in Paris with Lefebvre, Robert-Fleury, and his father, D. R. Knight. Exhibits included the Paris Exposition in 1900 (medal); the Paris Salon, 1901, 1905 (gold); the Rheims Exposition in 1903 (gold); the Lyons Exposition in 1904 (gold); the Nantes Exhibition in 1904 (gold); the Geneva Exhibition in 1904 (gold); the American Art Society of Philadelphia, 1906 (gold), 1907 (gold). His work was exhibited at the Luxembourg Museum; the Musee des Colonies; Paris; Nimes; Evreux; the Toledo Museum of Art; the Newark Museum; the Marion AC; the Delgado Museum; and the Omaha School of Liberal Arts.
